" Richard McVeigh gave a seriously thoughtful performance of Franck's Chorale No. 3. The lyrical central section was hauntingly beautiful... the dramatic pacing of this splendid piece by Mr. McVeigh was impeccable.
Steven Crowther - The Press, York
From October 2006, Richard McVeigh became the Organ Scholar at York Minster, having previously held Organ Scholarships at Beverley Minster and Chester Cathedral respectively.
He has maintained an excellent reputation in and around Cheshire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire over the past years, having played at most of the major venues in the areas.
He is also a keen composer, having composed pieces for the choir (including a well received set of Preces and Responses) and solo organ.
