" Richard McVeigh gave a seriously thoughtful performance of Franck's Chorale No. 3. The lyrical central section was hauntingly beautiful... the dramatic pacing of this splendid piece by Mr. McVeigh was impeccable.
Steven Crowther - The Press, York
From October 2006, Richard McVeigh became the Organ Scholar at York Minster, having previously held Organ Scholarships at Beverley Minster and Chester Cathedral respectively.
He has maintained a good reputation in and around Cheshire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire over the past years, having played at most of the major venues in the areas.
He is also a keen composer, having composed pieces for the choir (including a very well received set of Preces and Responses) and solo organ.
